This Nike Air Cross Trainer Low Screams An Early 90s Aesthetic

After making a strong comeback at the start of 2021, the Nike Air Cross Trainer Low appears to be resuming its early season releases with a 2023 release date planned for a “Volt” and “Royal” accented offer taken straight from a 90s catalog’s footwear section.

Jet-black details cover the narrow strip of the midsole, its midfoot Swoosh, and the sock liner of the shoe. Moreover, it fuels its perforated base layer with a vintage pristine white upper for a striking contrast. The forefoot is made of light grey tumbled leather, with eye-stays that hint at the inclusion of the hues described in the title. Rare samples of “Royal” coat the chenille texture of the inner tongue together with its heel clip below in a “Volt” finish with black branding. This treatment is applied to the upper tongue and stitched heel tab. Bright blue insignias claim the insoles to complete the design features before a sectioned white and neon tread finishes the outfit.
