The Dunk Low “Syracuse” release, one of the first iterations of the Be True To Your School line of Dunks, was a major force in the worldwide Dunk renaissance that is still sweeping the country today. Nike decided to re-release some of the originals more than two years later, and the white/orange pair will do so on November 1st.
The Nike Dunk “Be True To Your School” series recognized important college basketball programs around the country when it was first released in 1985 as high tops. Syracuse’s white and orange, which are frequent participants in the National Championship circuit, has emerged as one of the most recognizable school-based color schemes in shoe history, inspiring several homages on a variety of Nike and Air Jordan classics. The Air Ship and the Air Jordan 1 KO are two of the more recent pairs to appear, but the Dunk is unquestionably the one to have.
Once more, anticipate the Dunk Low “Syracuse” to return on 11/1 on Nike.com and maybe at its affiliated shops for the slightly increased price of $110.
Moreover, the Air Jordan 1 “Lost And Found” is set to arrive in mere weeks.
