Almost every popular shape from the Beaverton-based company has been adorned with the Swooshes “Animal Pack.” From the Air Force 1 Mid through the Blazer Mid ’77 and the Air Max 90, the latter models are being redesigned with a savannah look for the coming of lifestyle clothing.
The Air Max Plus concentrates the tonal transition along its mesh top in contrast to glossy jet-black TPU caging. It uses the color on the mudguard and sock liner. The gradient used by the shoe is pink to white, which is uncannily suggestive of frosted animal cookies. The midfoot of the shoe has a cream-colored sole. Whereas, the suede inside adorns with animal designs. It begins with zebra stripes around the midfoot and ends with cheetah spots on the heel counter and tongue tab. The previously established pink scheme wraps up along the tread and through a secondary gradient rooted on its midfoot shank. But, the titular red Swooshes focus themselves amid the cacophony.
