The Nike Air Force 1 Low Enjoys A Seldom “University Blue” Accent

This year, “University Blues” has become Air Force 1‘s favorite color. It coats the silhouette in both dominant and uncommon ways with everything from its Fontanka to low-top constructions. The most current Air Force 1 Low indulges in the latter’s utilization as an accent rather than incorporating the UNC-inspired color into the silhouette’s 40th-anniversary edition tooling.

Incorporating the model’s tried-and-true “Triple-White” look, the laces, tongue, sock liner, and smooth leather overlays all feature brighter color-matching. Light Carolina Blues enter the fold through a supplementary outline along the midfoot Swoosh. Moreover, it is in combination with both its tongue and heel tabs. However, they are unsuitable for the unpredictable weather of the upcoming months. A pristine white midsole interjects between the clothed-colored tread underneath. Finally, metallic dubraes and iced-out forefoot Swooshes also nod to the pair’s original tooling.
