The Nike Air Force 1 Dresses Up In Georgetown Colors

Who springs to mind when Georgetown basketball is mentioned? Is it Allen Iverson slicing up cats in the kente cloth-trimmed jerseys? Or perhaps the historic team of Michael Jackson and Patrick Ewing won the 1984 National Championship? In any case, The Swoosh recently brought back the iconic Nike Terminator High from the 1980s. It is in the tonal spectrum of the aforementioned school in an effort to honor the institution’s long legacy on the floor.

Now, The 1982 building designed by Bruce Kilgore for the court is currently getting its own Hoyas makeover.

The subtle color scheme combines tumbled leather panels with pre-worn suedes. The vamp, midfoot, and mesh tongue are covered in a “Summit White” base layer. While the mudguard, heel, and quarter are covered in latter-textured panels that are dyed “Smoke Grey.” The school’s official “Midnight Navy” cast is deployed along the smooth leather Swoosh and heel tab along with the same style lettering featured on the tongue tab. Moreover, The laces, sock liner, and heel tab’s embroidered university-style “NIKE” text are all color-matched.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Georgetown” completes the design with a clean white sole and a greyed-out tread. Enjoy the official photographs of the shoe below as we wait for its anticipated debut in the coming weeks.

LeBron just unveiled the Nike LeBron 20 in a “Lakers Away” colorway for additional items from the Beaverton-based brands.
