The Nike Air Force 1 Brews Up Its Own Mocha Colorway

The Nike Air Force 1 hasn’t had a silhouette that has commemorated its anniversary quite like it. Especially with the weekly arrival of numerous redesigned models. Few, however, make you feel as at home as when Bruce Kilgore’s famous 1982 building adopts a warm, neutral color scheme in homage to the Air Force 1’s most recent “Mocha” release.

The front half of the profile is given a striking jet-black treatment along its mudguard, laces, and quarter overlay. The silhouette is built around a matte “Sail” leather base. Moreover, it extends along the tongue made of ballistic mesh. The latter half uses its namesake colors instead, with a chocolate brown covering the soft nubuck heel counter. Whereas lighter wheat tones appear on the rough suede Swooshes and canvas tabs on the tongue and heel. Between the aforementioned portions, sharp contrasts are brought to a close by the black embroidered logo, a tread that matches the color, and a clean white sole unit.

While we wait for the Nike Air Force 1 “Mocha” to release, take pleasure in these pictures of the shoe.

In other NIKE Inc.-related news, the Air Jordan 7 “Chambray” will be back in 2023.
