The Nike Air Huarache, which celebrated its 30th birthday last year, has just debuted in a redesigned design. It combines an outdoor look with sustainability.
The Air Huarache Craft, which recently appeared in all-black, updates Tinker Hatfield’s scuba-inspired shape from 1991 for the ensuing 31 years. The silhouette has recognizable design elements at first look. But closer examination reveals the model’s higher shape and busier upper. Neoprene and textile materials are combined throughout the shoe. While the profiles are supported and structured by a fabric “cage.” The rail guards that surround the heel have also had an upgrade. It uses a canvas finish on its connecting strip rather than TPU. The cherished sole unit of the Nike Huarache has also been altered for the future with midsoles that favor a different form and height. Traction, with its exaggerated appearance and partially recycled structure, is the most noticeable departure from the original design.
Although the company hasn’t provided a clear launch date for Nike.com, this is probably about to change. Enjoy the official pictures of the shoes up above in the meanwhile.
Moreover, check out the Nike Dunk.
