The D. Rose 1.5 Flips Its 2011 All-Star Aesthetic

Derrick Rose is a major and significant player in the current NBA. Even though, he is far distant from his early 2010 on-court supremacy as a 15-year veteran of the League leading the young movement within The Mecca. The Three Stripes has decided that it is time for the former MVP’s collection of iconic shapes to get the Restomod treatment after acting as a symbol of bravery and tenacity for more than ten years.

The most recent Adizero D. Rose 1.5 is changing the treatment of the infrequent “Royal Blue” touches found on the 2011 All-Star outfit for a more dominantly colored model after enjoying an OG Bulls-scheme and St. Patrick’s Day themed offering.

The model’s whole body is coated in the aforementioned eponymous color, with the exception of its “Core Black” TPU window panels, sock lining, and accentuated mesh tongue construction. While the dubraes feature “Silver Metallic” highlights along with Rose’s trademark and adizero lining of the heel counter, nylon laces return to the abundant usage of blue. The sole modification to the model is a jet-black Lightstrike cushioning that contrasts sharply with the semi-opaque Puremotion tread.

The D. Rose 1.5 Restomod “Royal Blue” is on sale for $160 at the shops listed below. Also, enjoy official pictures of the couple as well in the interim.
