With Instagram leakers suggesting new additions to the rumored roster for the new year every week, Jordan Brand is ready to have 2023 unlike any other. The Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” will return for the silhouette’s forthcoming 30th anniversary, along with the Air Jordan 7 “Chambray” from 2006.
The pair, which was made famous by Michael Jordan and the Bulls winning their first three consecutive championships in Game 6 of the 1993 Finals against the Phoenix Suns, is getting ready to make its first appearance since 2013. It uses the original tooling from the 1990s construction. Moreover, it features a dominant jet-black nubuck composition throughout the entirety of its upper and an embossed midfoot strap. The heel tab has the same elements as the 1993 model. Just as its chenille “True Red” tongue tab, embroidered #23, and graphic overlays. Moreover, it has a different all-black design. The red and black color scheme complements a steel chrome accent on the sole. It also introduces the violet-blue tread tip and golden yellow Jumpman at the end.
On September 2, 2023, the pair is expected to release, according to zsneakerheadz on Instagram. Enjoy the pictures of the Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” below while you wait.
Moreover, LeBron recently debuted a Lakers-inspired Nike LeBron 20.
