Stephen Curry’s affection for Sour Patch Kids has long been known, and he first showed it in 2015 when he won the Three Point Contest, paying sour then sweet homage to the delicacy with the Under Armor Curry 1 FlowTro. After a pair of Curry 7’s marked the first formal collaboration between the two cohorts, the collection’s original colorway is now making a comeback more than seven years later.
The upper is made of a multicolored fabric that is predominate “Hyper Green” and “Team Orange” in color. Moreover, it is coated in a whimsical assortment of highly hued tones reminiscent of the various sweets. Also, they are contained in each pack or box. The main volt green outfit also covers the mudguard, midsole, and “30” branded counter. While a crisp white jagged cupsole gives the loud imprint a neutral finish. The latter is extended over its sock liner and laces embroidered with white accents. The heel and tongue branding are completed with a tribute to Red Berry, and the tread of the shoe concludes with a combination of the named tastes.
Curry, a four-time champion, arrived at Monday night’s game against the King’s in the debut silhouette. While pulling up with a giant-sized bag of the sweet treat in the matching packaging. Curry put on yet another MVP-caliber performance, scoring 47 points on 7-12 shooting from beyond the arc.
