Pharrell Launches JOOPITER By Auctioning Off 20 Years’ Worth Of Sneakers And Other Personal Goods

Pharrell Williams has continued to be unique despite inspiring a new generation of artists and creators.

The professional career spanning decades of the Virginia native has demonstrated his aptitude. The 49-year-old “Sk8brd” is reviewing the last 20 years of his career to evaluate what he has accomplished. It is a quality that has helped him throughout his life in his artistic, professional, and personal endeavors. Williams has made the decision to sell countless footwear, accessories, garments, and other things. His outmoded possessions in order to accept and impart new life.

A few artists are keen to remove all traces of their personal lives in a way that no platform permits. They are assisting in the launch of JOOPITER, a digital-only auction house. They are applying P’s “Marie Kondo” methodology.

Williams said in a Financial Times interview that “I’m not going to sell furniture on StockX.” I won’t be hawking stuff with 20+ carat diamonds on The Real Real, you know,” he continued.

Williams will offer a Blackberry 8700 dipped in 18-karat gold as well as Louis Vuitton and Goyard trunks adorned with Star-Trek emblems. A A BATHING APE, Billionaire Boys Club, and a white-gold, diamond, and ruby chain with a pendant featuring a N.E.R.D. character were also included. Additionally, he has a variety of standout footwear in his 52-piece collection.

Sale items include Swarovski crystal-covered adidas Stan Smith versions in addition to “SpongeBob” BAPE STAs covered in crocodile leather.
