Nike Adds Plaid Tartan Accents To The Air Force 1 Low

The Swoosh has enjoyed casting its collection of lifestyle designs with a lively assortment of “Tartan” textiles ever since the start of the fall season. The Beaverton-based company is getting ready for the holiday gift-giving season. They’re expanding iconic red-green plaids onto its cherished models with the introduction of material via the Air Jordan 1 Mid.

The Air Force 1 Low joins the fun by giving its Swooshes and backtabs a festive red-black, and green checkered texture. It’s just like its coordinating Dunk Low and Blazer Low ’77 forerunners. The remaining space maintains its standard pristine white leather upper portion. It has color-matched laces and a sock liner in the absence of any more discordant structural modifications. The design delivers one last taste of tonal palette with an old-eggshell midsole and the red “AIR” text. The text serves its name, while the established crimson colour is carried out along the tongue tabs branding.

There is currently no word on an official release date. Take a closer look at the Air Force 1 “Tartan” in the official photographs provided below.

For more from the Beaverton brand, The Swooshes “Moving Co.” collection is adding the Air Force 1 Low with an all-canvas construction.
