Maybe Tomorrow And Saucony To Drop “Tortoise” And “Hare” Collaborations At ComplexCon

Although Maybe Tomorrow is best known for its Justin Timberlake-approved beanies, it has entered the sneaker market with the assistance of its friends at Saucony.

The founder and creative director of Maybe Tomorrow, based in New York, has already customized shoes from the Massachusetts institution. But his most recent endeavor gives the Saucony Shadow 6000 and 3D Grid Hurricane his label’s moniker. The aforementioned designs, which draw inspiration from Aesop’s Fables, feature “Hare” and “Tortoise” themes, respectively. It alludes to Maybe Tomorrow and Saucony’s own understanding that sometimes working together is preferable.

Each pair, as expected, takes color inspirations from its corresponding animal. With the vintage Shadow 6000 choose a range of grey tones for its leather and suede upper. In contrast, the more recent 3D Grid Hurricane emphasizes a more striking green and orange layout. It befits a turtle emoji. Both designs include co-branding throughout, with the words “Maybe” and “Tomorrow” appearing on the spines of the left and right shoes, respectively.

No information regarding the launch date of Saucony.com has been provided by any side. Instead, on November 19 and 20, the “Hare” and “Tortoise” pairs will be available at ComplexCon.
