The availability of many of JJJJound‘s shoe partnerships extends far beyond the confines of their Montreal-based studio. That’s not quite the case, though, with their upcoming 990v3, whose hue and release are honoring the brand’s birthplace.
This upcoming JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 is a tribute to Montreal. Moreover, it is where Justin Saunders created the mood-board-turned-design-studio over 16 years ago. It is deceptively basic, like many of their collaborative works. The tonal brown color scheme and slight textural contrast of the pair are reminiscent of the city itself. Moreover, it reflects the tones seen in its streets and buildings. The brand has added light creams to the midsole and laces of the shape. As is customary for many of its NBs, and “JJJJound” branding to the heel and sock liner.
See below for a more in-depth look at the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 “Montreal.” The partnership, which will only be accessible to customers in Montreal, will go on sale on November 25 at 12 PM ET. After purchasing pairs, users can pick them up at a planned exhibit in the city.
On the other hand, full images of the Action Bronson New Balance 990v6 were revealed.
