Concepts Gathers The 1996 NBA Draft Class To Their Reebok Question Collaboration

Who comes to mind when you consider the best draft class to ever join the NBA? The 2003 class of LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwyane Wade may make an immediate impression. However, the members of the 1996 Class have already achieved the rank of legend.

The star-studded cast, led by Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen, Steve Nash, and Stephon Marbury, gathered together in Orlando. The pictures taken there are on of the most famous draft in the history. These were also used in a rookie orientation event and on the cover of SLAM Magazine’s February 1997 issue.

The first-round choice Allen Iverson isn’t there for that famed cover. Even though, reportedly, he left Orlando just before the shoot began. His absence has continued to reverberate in mythology, which is being embodied in Reeboks‘s most recent collaboration with Concepts.

Finally, his absence was modified in 1999 when he received his own cover that reflected the revolution AI was leading. Cracked leather panels dominate the Reebok Question Mid‘s multi-color design, while its signature red toe cap delivers a single suede fabric. The model is painted in the team’s primary colors, as seen on the cover.

The mesh tongue of the shoe creates a colorless, bright white shade that contrasts with the midsole’s sky-blue honeycomb pods and laces of the shoe. Additionally, the Reebok logo terminates along the “CNCPTS”-branded eye stays and is covered in dazzling golden color. Just a few of the hues used include blue, orange, purple, green, and teal.

The Concepts x Reebok Question Mid “Draft Class” will be on sale this Friday, October 21st, just at cncpts.com and CNCPTS Dubai. Moreover, It has a Reebok release set for October 22nd. In the meanwhile, view the official images of the shoe below.

Also, the original “Chicago” colorway of the Air Jordan 2 is making a comeback this Christmas season.
